Get to know our campus in Hamburg

A diverse neighborhood, the central location of the campus, the economic and cultural offerings - there are many points that make our campus in Hamburg an attractive place for students from abroad to study here. The economic strength of the metropolitan region and its continuous growth make the Hanseatic city one of the largest economic, commercial, cultural, and logistics centers in North-West Europe. Our students benefit from the numerous cooperations with internationally renowned agencies, publishing houses, and companies we are partnering with. The historic campus building is only a few minutes away from 'Altona' railway station and, thanks to the imposing cross vaults, bright courtyard, and modern facilities, our campus is always leaving some lasting impressions - not only to our students.

Entrepreneurial thinking and independent action are the two pillars that form the foundation of our teaching. Our content is taught in a practical manner and in personal exchange with our teachers. Numerous practical projects prepare students for the time after their graduation. As a member of the Global University Systems network, which connects students on all continents, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) guarantees a global exchange, which enables us to offer our students semesters or internships abroad during their time in Germany.

Quality of Teaching

We are among the 25 best schools with an international orientation worldwide. "U-Multirank" ranks us as one of the 25 best universities in the world for our study abroad programmes and student mobility. More than 1,300 universities from over 90 countries were evaluated and rated on the basis of ten indicators. The ratio of students to faculty in science and teaching as well as the number of frequently cited publications and the quality of teaching played an essential role.
