This is where our university comes in and supports you actively and with full commitment: We help you find the right talent and support you fully throughout the time of the cooperation. Therefore, we only propose candidates who are a perfect match for your company and that serve your individual requirements and wishes for each position.
The close integration of theory and practice and the future-oriented focus of our dual study programmes ensure that you, as a practice partner, will retain the important talent in your company from an early stage until beyond their study time. Study model and investment
We want our students to experience as much as possible from working in the real world. That’s why all our dual degree programmes involve regular alternation between theory and practice, mostly in the split-week model:
- Students work at your company three days a week for a total of about 20 hours.
- For about 27 weeks per year in total.
- Over a study period of 3, 3.5 or 4 years, depending on the degree programme.
- All programmes start every year in the winter semester and some in the summer semester.
Your investment: As a UE practice partner, you cover the tuition fees from €495 per month, which you can deduct for tax purposes as operating costs. You decide for yourself whether or not you will pay the students any additional compensation.

Becoming a UE practice partner is of interest to large, medium-sized and small companies from a wide range of industries. This is because our portfolio of study programmes covers a wide variety of topics. Our focus lies on innovative programmes that prepare students for the jobs of the future – a must for every future-oriented company.

3 steps: How to become a dual practice partner of UE
We only seek long-term, honest partnerships. We place special importance on reliability, a great deal of commitment and high-quality standards, which we also demand of ourselves. That's why our university is system accredited – the highest recognition of excellence in teaching. We only work with professionally experienced lecturers and enable our students to work with state-of-the-art equipment and the latest labs and photo/video studios at every campus.
Step 2: Feedback
You can conduct an interview with the candidate. If the interview is successful, there is the possibility of an additional meeting on a trial day.
Step 3: Contract & Start
Once the right person is selected, we prepare all the contract documents. After admission to UE, the dual student will start the next winter or summer semester.
