Tuition fees and funding
With your studies at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) you invest in your successful future. Our study programs and study content guarantee the best possible education. 93% of our graduates find a job within the first 12 months after graduating from UE.
The tuition fee includes:
- Advanced teaching by faculty with real-world experience

- Enrollment fee, examination fee, bachelor's or master's thesis fee
- State-of-the-art equipment in the teaching rooms and the technology lending facility (Arsenal)
- Free German or English language courses for enrolled students
- The possibility to individually choose modules from other programs as part of your curriculum
- Access to the Job Teaser online platform, through which UE connects you with practice partners and regional companies
- Use of the UE campus including library, cafeteria, WLAN and other services
We will help you with questions regarding the financing of tuition fees through grants such as BAföG, student loans, education funds or scholarships. Among other things, UE itself awards numerous scholarships such as the Digital Pioneers Scholarship or the Cultural Diversity Scholarship.
The cost of a mandatory semester ticket is still in addition to the semester fee. This allows the use of public transportation during the entire semester:
- Berlin: ca.200€ for the areas ABC of the Berlin public transport company BVG (2022).
- Hamburg: approx. 190€ for the Hamburg large area of the Hamburg transport association HVV(2021)
All costs are integrated in the monthly study fee, including the matriculation fee, examination fees, bachelor thesis fee, the Leadership Assessment Center or similar. (as long as the study program is completed within the standard period of study). The costs for the Semester abroad are not included in the tuition fee, as there are significantly different fees and living costs depending on the destination country and university.
If your siblings are already studying at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences, there is a possibility of a 10% discount.
Alumni of our university receive a 15% discount on tuition fees.

With one of our UE Scholarships you not only will receive a financial support but you also boost your CV. All you need is a motivational letter and/or a creative proof depending on your selected scholarship program. Please state why you qualify for one of our program. Students at a private university are eligible for government support according to the German Training Assistance Act (BAföG). The amount of support depends on your income and assets. If you are eligible for support, you should fill out the application form as soon as possible upon being accepted to University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE).
FOR EU APPLICANTS
There is no reservation fee for EU citizens.
FOR NON-EU APPLICANTS
Once you are accpeted as a student, you will be asked to pay a reservation fee of 3,000 €. The reservation fee is a one-time payment that will sercure your spot and that will be deducted from the total cost of the programme, before you are invoiced for tuition.
For example: If your total programme costs 30,000 € and the reservation fee is paid (3,000 €), you would only be invoiced for the remaining 27,000 € in tuition once you start studying.
We have partnered with Flywire in order to streamline the process of this fee. Flywire allows you to pay securely from any country and any bank, generally in your home currency. Once you are accepted as a student you will be asked to pay the reservation fee of 3,000 €. The payment can be done via the Flywire Payment Terminal.

The university awards each semester partial scholarships for the length of one year. The selection process is managed by University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE).
Many financial institutions, such as Deutsche Bank, Sparkasse or Volksbank, and Raiffeisenbank, offer school loans with flexible monthly payment options. They allow you to negotiate individual terms at a low yearly interest rate.
Germany's development bank KfW grants full-time students a school loan with a monthly payment option at a low-interest rate.
Particularly talented students can also apply for a scholarship with the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes (German Scholarship Foundation), or with a special interest or regional foundations.

2. Select payment method: Review the payment options provided, and select your preferred method. Options may include bank transfer, debit/credit card in your home currency, electronic payment, or other local options.
3. Enter your details: Create your account, then enter some basic information to initiate your payment. Flywire will include this information with your payment for easy identification by our staff.
4. Make your payment: Follow the instructions provided to send funds to Flywire via your selected method.
5. Track and confirm: Track your payment by logging into your Flywire account at any time. Receive text and email status updates each step of the way, including confirmation when your payment has been delivered.
