Spotlight Module "Innovation Management"

In the 'Innovation Management' module of our full-time Master of Business Administration, students delve deep into the world of technology and its impact on business strategies. They learn to analyze trends in technology and understand their influence on business strategies. Additionally, the importance of technology monitoring and analysis is highlighted.

Students explore the concept of "Technology Watch" and recognize its relevance in the business context. They also learn to determine the business value of innovations using KPIs and identify the strategic challenges for companies. The module also covers modeling the innovation process and adapting protection mechanisms for innovations. Finally, the various financing options for innovations – from self-financing and bank loans to government subsidies and private investors – are explored, discussing their advantages and disadvantages.

The Edge Student Hub in Zossen is located just 45 minutes from Berlin’s Potsdamer Platz and offers a balance of peaceful surroundings with excellent access to the capital. Accommodation options include shared rooms from €599 per month, as well as single and shared apartments, supported by comprehensive facilities such as communal kitchens, study areas, and secure shared spaces. In Iserlohn, Edge Student Hub is located directly on the UE Germany campus, allowing students to walk to lectures in just a few minutes. Shared rooms are available from €379 per month, with all rooms fully furnished and equipped with an individual desk, kitchenette, and ensuite bathroom.
