Why study dually at the UE?

The dual study programme is characterised by an optimal interlocking of theory and practice. As a rule, dual students complete their Bachelor’s degree at a university and, in parallel, get respective practical experience at suitable practical partner company. In our business degree programmes in taxatione-commerce and industry you will also acquire a vocational training qualification at a vocational school as a tax, e-commerce or industry specialist.

The content of the seminars and lectures at the university (and vocational) school is closely related to the tasks at the company. UE favours the weekly model, in which our dual students study two days a week at the university (or one day at the vocational school + one day at the university) and work three days at the practice partner. In doing so, they gain relevant skills for a successful start to their professional life in the shortest possible time.

Your practice partner usually takes over the tuition fees at the university and pays you a training salary. In return, the dual student actively contributes to his or her team as an employee in training on three days in addition to his or her studies, and gets to know the corporate culture and work processes.

Not only the dual students, but also the companies are very interested in continuing the working relationship after graduation. UE has a large and continuously growing network of partner companies that take on dual students. Convince yourself of our success!
