Dual study programme Digital Media & Marketing, BSc

The subject areas of this interdisciplinary dual Bachelor's degree programme range from the production of digital content (e.g. on social media, websites and podcasts) and modules from the fields of business administration/commerce to digital transformation and digital enterprise. The programme is held in German with selected modules in English.

 

The modern equipment at our campuses allows you, for example, to handle a simulated social media crisis or to use our audio and TV studios to create various digital products. Our professors from academia and industry support you in the implementation of your projects and enable an effective transfer of knowledge between your practice company and the university for your successful career start.

Cooperation partners

Marketing and media managers have to cover a whole range of knowledge in their careers. In this dual bachelor's degree, therefore, in addition to the core disciplines of internal and external communication and marketing, a wide range of skills from the areas of business administration and political economy, media, micro and macroeconomics, accounting, statistics and corporate law are taught. Students also learn the methods of market research, the writing of press releases and content creation  from video and photo to text and audio – as well as the associated use of content management systems.

 

At the same time, students prepare for a managerial position – this includes, for example, lectures in corporate management, strategic planning, project management and crisis communication and mediation techniques. In addition, students receive the necessary skills to help them accompany digital transformation in companies.
