UE expresses its deepest condolences over the death of student Mohammed Osama Barakat

In a somber announcement, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) expresses deep sorrow over the death of Mohammed Osama Barakat who lost his life on December 19, 2023. The university community joins together in grief, offering condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Prof. Dr. Sascha Bosetzky, Vice President for Studies and Teaching at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE), commented on this case: “We are deeply saddened to hear our student Mohammed Osama Barakat has been found dead. Our hearts go out to his family, friends and classmates as they cope with their tremendous heartbreak and grief.”

The University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) offers its students and fellow students psychological support to assist them in their grief and to support them during this difficult time. Mohammed will be remembered as a loving and dedicated student.”
