Start your Master's studies at UE with the Master Preparatory Programme Business / Management / IT

 

The University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) offers a Master Preparatory Programme in preparation for the Master's programme in Data Science. With this programme, you will not only be optimally prepared for your studies at UE but also fulfill the necessary admission requirements after successful completion. Within the framework of the Master Preparatory Programme in Business / Management / IT, you will improve your English language skills in just one semester and strengthen your intercultural skills in addition to IT and business knowledge. 

 

During this Master's degree with our Master Preparatory Programme you'll gain the following skills during the first semester:

 

  • Advanced-level English (IELTS level 6)
  • Office package plus additional skills (i.e. IT/programming)
  • Statistics (including preparatory course in Master Data Science)

Students of selected MA programmes at UE have the choice of a Master's degree in 60, 90, or 120 ECTS which gives them full flexibility. Students can apply for one of the three options depending on the education they've already achieved and how many ECTS they've already accumulated in their previous Bachelor's (or Master's) courses. Our lectures cover the relevant methods in data analytics and machine learning, such as clustering methods, predictive modeling and deep learning. The structured collection of data with intelligent data management is the basis of all successful analyses. Lectures on data engineering and cloud computing focus on these aspects.

You’ll also undertake a capstone project which allows students to work on an applied project with company partners or develop their own research project.

We are offering a pre-intensive course in “Programming” starting this winter semester 2021 in a digital format.

As a private university, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) is funded not by the state, but by tuition fees. For this reason, studying at University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) costs more than at a public university. But it’s worth it:

  • Our graduates meet essential requirements of careers in business, and this sets them apart from the graduates of many public universities. Your employment and earnings prospects are greatly improved.
  • ​All tuition costs are included in the monthly tuition fee. No additional costs will be incurred, such as a matriculation fee, exam fees, an bachelor thesis fee or similar, as long as the course is completed within the standard study period.

The costs for the semester abroad are not included in these fees, as there are substantial differences depending on country and university.
