What happens after your studies?
Clinical psychologists deal with the therapeutic treatment and support of psychologically and physically ill people. Within rehabilitation psychology, the focus is on restoring the participation of people after physical or mental illnesses (e.g. in psychosomatic, neurological, oncological or geriatric rehabilitation) on a clinical-psychological basis. After completing your Master's degree in Psychology, you will find career opportunities as a psychologist in the following areas:
- Rehabilitation or geriatric clinics
- Psychiatric or neurological clinics
- Outpatient care facilities
- Health care and counselling
- Health insurance companies
