We teach the relevant psychological principles and methods in the areas of general and biological psychology, social psychology and developmental psychology.

Application-related topics are taught in particular in the area of diagnostics as well as in the specialisation subjects Clinical and Health Psychology, Work/Organisation/Business Psychology or Environmental Psychology. In our courses, we link theoretical knowledge and its practical application and underpin this with current research findings.

The combination of theory and practice is close to our hearts and we convey this through practice-oriented teaching with case studies, lecturers with practical experience and an integrated coached internship in the 5th semester. In this way, you can optimally qualify for the various fields of activity according to your individual areas of interest.

This experience also flows into our Bachelor's programme in Psychology B.Sc., which is offered without NC (Numerus Clausus).

Our curriculum is based on the requirements of EuroPsy (certification system of the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations, EFPA). This enables you - after completing a wide range of professional qualification measures - to acquire the EuroPsy certificate, which certifies the corresponding professional competences throughout Europe.

The programme can be started in the winter or summer semester. In both cases, students have access to the same study content in the basic, methods and application courses. The courses are attended together with older (earlier enrolled) and younger (later enrolled) fellow students, so that the students can encourage and support each other.

The focus of our teaching is on your individual support in small learning groups and a friendly, familiar atmosphere. A variety of practical projects with top partners and a coached internship semester will prepare you perfectly for the job market.
