Artificial Intelligence and Technology Seminar

The department of Data Science at the UE Innovation Hub invite you to a digital webinar which brings together experts from the field of Artificial intelligence and technology. In our upcoming session, we have invited three industry experts in their fields to share their knowledge and experiences with our students.

 

The first speaker is Dr. Humera Noor, she is the CTO and co-founder of the German startup 4Pilots aimed to develop an AI-based driver safety system. She will be talking about the usefulness of machine learning and artificial intelligence and how they are applied in applications that can be used to save thousands of lives.

 

The second speaker is Dr. Samar Fatima, researcher at the Queensland University of Technology. Through her research, she aspires to explore the role of emerging technologies in societal development initiatives. She will be talking about “Countries' Readiness for Artificial Intelligence Adoption”

 

The third speaker is Huzaifa Qamar, senior software engineer for 10 Pearls and will be talking about “How python is being used in different domains of the professional industry”. Huzaifa is an expert in web development and has 8 years of experience in software development and has 6 years of experience in developing software in Python.

 

Seminar Venue: University of Europe for Applied Sciences (iHUB, Potsdam Campus) and online on MS Team

Seminar Timings: 11:00 AM to 01:45 PM (CET)

  1. First Speaker: 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM

  2. Second Speaker: 12:00 PM to 12:40 PM

  3. Break 12:45 PM to 01:00 PM

  4. Third Speaker: 01:00 PM to 01: 40 PM

 

The event has been organised by Dr. Talha Ali Khan, professor for Data Science at the UE Innovation Hub. Snacks and drinks will be provided to the students present at the event. Link to the webinar will be sent to the students through their professors.

 

PLEASE NOTE: The seminar is open for all faculties and students from any campus can take part in it.
