Prof. Dr. Janina Hülsebusch studied psychology at the Ruhr University in Bochum, specialising in consultation, intervention and clinical psychology. In addition to her doctorate on pain and depression, she completed further training as a psychological psychotherapist in the field of cognitive behavioral therapy and finalized it with her license to practice.

 

Through diverse professional and research experience, Prof. Dr. Janina Hülsebusch strengthened her expertise in the field of clinical psychology. Among other things, she worked in a semi-stationary and outpatient setting in psychotherapeutic patient care, and as a member of the management team of an outpatient clinic, she supervised psychotherapists in training during their outpatient work. She also worked for many years as a lecturer in psychology and medicine. Her professional focus includes the basics of clinical psychology, psychopathology, psychotherapy, medical psychology and pain psychotherapy.

 

Since October 2021, Prof. Dr. Janina Hülsebusch has been a Lecturer of Psychology at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Iserlohn. Lecturer Hülsebusch teaching areas of Clinical Psychology, Psychopathology, Psychotherapy and Softskills at UE Iserlohn.
