The Digital Product Management (BA) programme provides students with an academic foundation in the subject areas of digital product management, digital product innovation and marketing, agile project management and practical skills in the areas of product strategy, business model design, organizational design, design thinking and entrepreneurship. Graduates are able to apply knowledge of contemporary tools and technologies for product management. In addition, our students will learn all aspects of the development of digital products, enabling them to analyse consumers and market events using the methods of the subject and to derive strategies for innovative digital products from this.
Due to the professional and conceptual proximity of digital product managers to the field of UX/UI design, students are also taught media, art and cultural theory in the first semesters in order to participate in current and future discourses that precede the creation of relevant digital content.

Curriculum Digital Product Management
Graduates of our Bachelor programme in Digital Product Management have a broad, interdisciplinary and integrated understanding of business, information technology, quantitative and legal principles. They can independently and holistically identify business opportunities, formulate structured requirements for digital products and coordinate agile development teams and organisations.
During their studies, students are encouraged to deal scientifically with socially relevant issues and acquire social skills that strengthen their teamwork, communication and cooperation skills as well as intercultural competence, thus contributing to their personal development.
A study-integrated internship (5th semester) at home or abroad enables students to acquire professional experience. Alternatively, students acquire international and intercultural competences in a semester abroad.
In the elective subjects, students can develop individual subject specialisations in the areas of Digital Workflows, User Research & Insight Generation as well as Strategic Design and Start-Up Culture.
