The current international health landscape demands a newly structured national public health policy that takes the lead in safeguarding and enhancing public health. This policy agenda strongly emphasizes the importance of effective leadership, highlighting that a visionary approach along with modern administrative practices are necessary to successfully organize public health services in the global context.
Our Prevention & Therapy Management programme has been precisely designed with this goal in mind. It builds upon the strengths of our research and teaching expertise to ensure that our graduates acquire the skills to shape and lead public health services and administration based on a solid foundation of knowledge in management theories and practices, as well as in the field of public health.
The new programme in Therapy Management is a four-semester master's degree program that concludes with the academic degree Master of Science (M.Sc.). It prepares students for exciting roles in the planning, control, and organization of outpatient and inpatient prevention and therapy providers (e.g., clinics, therapy practices, rehabilitation facilities, wellness spas, and health-oriented fitness facilities). Students acquire comprehensive therapy, health, and prevention-specific expertise, combined with fundamental management skills and relevant business knowledge. This not only ensures the best possible patient care and customer orientation but also guides the institutions toward a successful economic future.
Depending on your chosen study scope, a capstone project is scheduled for the third semester. While semesters abroad and internships aren't part of the regular schedule, they can be individually integrated into the Master's programme if you're interested.
