The University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) offers a Master Preparatory Programme in preparation for the Master's programme in International Business Management. With this programme, you will not only be optimally prepared for business studies at UE, but also fulfill the necessary admission requirements after successful completion. Within the framework of the Master Preparatory Programme Business / Management / IT, you will improve your English language skills in just one semester and strengthen your intercultural skills in addition to basic IT and business knowledge. 

 

The Master Preparatory Programme Business / Management / IT strengthens you as follows:

 

  • Advanced-level English (IELTS level 6)

  • Office package plus additional skills (i.e. IT/programming)

  • Statistics (including preparatory course in Master Data Science)

  • Scientific Writing

  • Culture Skills/Networking

  • Setting up and completing a final project


Your advantage: The tuition fees for the Master Preparatory Programme will be credited to your subsequent Master's programme at UE (last semester).

More flexible, more interdisciplinary, and more practice-oriented - the new Master's programmes make the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) even more attractive! Students of selected MA programmes at UE have the choice of a Master's degree in 60, 90, or 120 ECTS which gives them full flexibility. Students can apply for one of the three options depending on the education they've already achieved and how many ECTS they've already accumulated in their previous Bachelor's (or Master's) courses. Practical experience will also be taken under consideration.

At the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE), we stimulate your management competencies in a scientific and practical manner. You will learn the essential management qualifications in the core disciplines of business management across different disciplines.

 

The study programme with 120 ECTS offers you three specialisation areas, of which two are compulsory: Business Administration, Marketing & Sales, as well as Personnel Management & Company Development. On top of that, you will gain further study and practical experience in qualification phases domestically, and also complete two leadership training courses following the most modern scientific approaches. The different modules have been compactly assembled for the 60 ECTS master’s programme.

As a private university, University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) is funded not by the state, but by tuition fees. For this reason, studying at University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) costs more than at a public university. But it’s worth it: Our graduates meet essential requirements of careers in business, and this sets them apart from the graduates of many public universities. All costs are included in the monthly tuition fee.

 

No additional costs will be incurred, such as a matriculation fee, exam fees, bachelor thesis fee or similar, as long as the course is completed within the standard study period. The costs for the semester abroad are not included in these fees, as there are substantial differences depending on country and university.

You can apply a year in advance for your desired starting semester. Students must meet the following requirements to qualify for the master’s degree programme:

  • Online application
  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree (4 years-Bachelor with 240 ECTS for the two-semester-programme or 3 years-Bachelor with 180 ECTS for the four-semester-programme, a German Diplom or Magister
  • Final grade of “Good” (GPA: 2.5), otherwise a letter of recommendation from the previous university
  • Focus on business within your previous studies (alternatively, you may attend preliminary courses)
  • Good English language skills (at least level B2)
  • Interview in English
