Applied Business Psychology, B.Sc.

At UE, we offer two distinct psychology-focused Bachelor’s programmes tailored to different career paths. The B.Sc. in Applied Business Psychology (Hamburg campus) combines psychological insight with business strategy. You'll explore how behaviour influences leadership, marketing, and workplace dynamics — ideal for careers in HR, consulting, or organisational development.
In contrast, the B.Sc. Business Psychology (Berlin campus) provides a broader scientific foundation, covering areas like clinical, developmental, and biological psychology. This programme suits those interested in mental health, education, or research careers.
Both programmes share a strong practical focus and international outlook—designed to equip you for the future, whichever direction you choose.

Curriculum Applied Business Psychology

The BSc in Applied Business Psychology spans six semesters and offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that blends core psychological knowledge with business acumen. Students will explore modules such as Personality Psychology , Digital Transformation, Occupational Psychology as well asPsychological Diagnostics and Interventions.

Spotlight Module: Psychological Diagnostics and Interventions

This module equips students with one of the most critical skill sets in applied psychology: the ability to assess, interpret, and influence human behaviour using scientifically grounded methods. You'll learn how to select and apply diagnostic tools, design intervention strategies, and evaluate their effectiveness in business contexts.
Whether it's identifying the right candidate for a leadership role, improving team dynamics, or implementing change processes, you’ll develop the analytical mindset and practical tools to make informed, ethical, and data-driven decisions. UE Foundation Diploma

If you do not yet meet the admission requirements for the Applied Business Psychology B.Sc. programme, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) offers a one-semester Foundation Diploma to help you successfully begin your studies. This preparatory programme is designed to enhance your English language proficiency and provide you with essential foundations in business and psychology. In addition to strengthening your academic writing and research skills, it also fosters intercultural awareness and communication—critical for a global career in business psychology.

The Foundation Diploma offers a supportive entry into university life and gives you a first-hand experience of UE’s interdisciplinary and international study environment. An added benefit: the tuition for the Foundation Diploma will be fully credited toward your sixth and final semester of the Bachelor’s programme. When applying, simply select “Undergraduate + Foundation Diploma” to secure your spot.
