UE's Honorary Fellowships

UE’s  “Honorary Fellowship Program” is designed to strengthen UE’s network. The board functions as a high-profile think tank and sparring partner — a forum to exchange ideas, explore new trends, gain diverse perspectives on global and university-related topics. It is also intended to serve as a door-opener for high-level discussions and partnerships.

Honorary Fellowships may be awarded to individuals in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) or the local regions of our different campus worldwide. These fellowships can be granted to those closely associated with the University or former staff members.

Awarding highly esteemed individuals with one of the Honorary Awards from UE can be an effective way to foster relationships. A list of the esteemed individuals who have received the Honorary Fellowship from UE is available on this website soon.
There is a limit to the number of Honorary Fellowships the University can award each year.
A Honorary Fellowship can also be revoked by the Honorary Fellowship Committee where serious and significant concerns have been raised, see full document for further information.

Criteria for the award of Honorary Fellow

- They should have strong links with the global business community or the local region of the respective campus.
- They should be a suitable role model for current students and potential future students.
- Their work should be associated with a core area of the UE’s research.
- The award should contribute to the UE’s aspiration to become a leading global University.

Candidates may be nominated to receive an honorary fellowship at partner institutions. In this case, the nomination may outline existing or potential links to the overseas campus or partner; and/or its local region.

Individuals may not nominate themselves.

Honorary awards are not normally given to:
