Professor Smith has been with the University of Europe for Applied Sciences since 2011. She served as Vice Dean of the Art & Design faculty and is currently Professor for New Media Design. Professor Smith's areas of expertise are Exhibition Design, Spatial Design, Way-finding, Material Culture, Design Curation, Experimental Design, Visual Anthropology, and Museology. Additional expertise includes Ethics, Social Justice, Decolonization, and Ethnographic Research Method.
