UE alumni from Iserlohn set sail for networking-event with more founders

Learn more about the initiative of the two UE graduates here.

UE brought out many graduates through its more than 20 years of existence. UE alumni regularly exchange ideas, connect and network. Now two former UE students have organised a sailing trip on the Baltic Sea with a total of 30 founders. Both are now successful founders themselves, manage a StartUpFond and won the 1st Südwestfalen Pionier.

Ebbo Tücking, head of the Business Management Studies programme at the UE Campus in Iserlohn, also participated: “It’s simply great to see how our students develop from first-year students to founders and then set up successful companies themselves. In the context of networking, this is of course even easier, especially when new contacts are made on high seas.”

“As a university teacher, I am proud of our alumni. Working together through lectures and seminars right from the start, then going out to celebrate together and continuing to support each other later in professional life, that is the ideal form of a university community. I am very pleased that this still exists at UE today,” Ebbo Tücking continues.
