BIOGRAFIE
Professor Piepiorka is the Vice Dean of Sports, Media & Events in Iserlohn and she brings expertise in Marketing, Project Management, Media and Communication, and Science and Media and Events. She is also the lecturer for Media and Communication
Professor Christine Piepiorka completed her media management studies at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Iserlohn in 2005. She then completed a master's degree in media studies at the Ruhr University in Bochum. In 2017, she also received her doctorate in media studies there.
Her work and research interests focus on media economics, media and television studies, social media, spatial storytelling in transmedia and augmented alternate, mixed reality.
She has already gained various professional experiences: Among others, she worked for the editorial department WestCom Sat.1 Dortmund and in production at RTL/Norddeich TV Produktion-GmbH. In addition, she has experience in marketing and online marketing as well as in/in project management.
Already fascinated by the profession of a professor during her studies, she was able to gain numerous teaching experiences during her doctorate. She worked as a lecturer at the Ruhr University in Bochum and then as a research assistant at the University of Media, Communication and Science in Cologne. Now Christine Piepiorka works as a university lecturer at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in the Department of Sports, Media and Events and passionately develops a wide variety of topics and projects together with students.
Professor Piepiorka's research focus is on Media Economics, Media and Television, Social Media,
Spatial Storytelling in Transmedia and Augmented Alternate and Mixed Reality.
