Career Services Coordinator

Global University Systems (GUS) is one of the most diverse educational networks of higher education
institutions around the world. GUS educates in a wide range of programmes, including bachelor's and
master's degree programmes, English language courses, and professional, corporate, and executive
education. At 57 locations including the UK, Canada, the USA, the Caribbean, Ireland, Israel, Singapore
and Germany, around 87,000 students form an international network to learn together.
In Germany, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE), the Berlin School of Business and
Innovation (BSBI), the vocational school for design (htk academy) and the Service company GUS
Germany GmbH (GGG) belong to Global University Systems (GUS). UE is headquartered in Potsdam
and has Berlin, Iserlohn, and Hamburg campuses. Our institutions are characterised by a particular
practical orientation, internationality, modern teaching content and personal contact with the

For our international UE location in Berlin at Potsdamer Platz, we are looking for Career Services Coordinator (m,f,d)


• Maintenance and expansion of the company and partner network
• Designing and implementing measures to network students, graduates and companies, e.g. recruiting
   events and company excursions
• Supporting students in building good employability through formats such as workshops and lectures
   with and without external partners
• Advising students on questions about practical phases and career topics
• Maintaining the university's internal career portal (events, job postings, company profiles)
• Maintaining alumni contacts
• Survey of student needs in relation to the Career Service
• Collaboration in the UE Service Centre: Supporting students and answering general questions on
   various service topics


• Completed vocational training or university degree
• Desirable: experience in event, cooperation or personnel management
• Friendly, obliging manner and the competence to build up long-term cooperations
• Willingness to cooperate in a team working across locations (no travelling)
• Willingness to familiarise yourself with the university's various subject areas
• Great pleasure in working in an international company
• Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
• Good digital skills
• A high degree of initiative, organisational talent, reliability, loyalty and flexibility round off your profile
